With the New Year in full swing, I am moving closer to my dream of being financially free, traveling the world, living in luxury, and wishing on a star to find my Prince Charming to start a family with! Big dreams for a small-town girl–I know–but if you don’t dream big for yourself, you’ll always be the background of someone else’s dream.

When To Start

The first thing I do is start before the New Year. To be honest, I never really start anything new, I just continue launching goals and plans that have been in action for years. Take this blog for example. I have wanted to start a blog for years. I had one in college but it was full of pictures and a broken heart. Not really what I wanted to manifest for my future. Since I loved it so much, I decided to leave it up and let it age with time as a capsule of my youth and a reminder of how my brain worked during that stage of my life.

How I Do A “Vision Board”

I always do a vision board but in the last few years, I’ve found that building a physical board doesn’t work for me. I love making it but my space is my place of peace. So when something doesn’t belong, like a large piece of cardboard, I take a picture of it and end up throwing it away. The picture gets lost as I take more photos with time, then I end up forgetting that I did it. I generally remember my goals on them but towards the end of 2022, I found a site that changed my life. I know. That is such a cliche statement but for someone like me, it helped me put hundreds of ideas I have into one place within a few days. That is a record! The site is called MilaNote. I use it for business but I also used it to create my vision board for 2023!

How I Manifest My Dreams into Reality

As aforementioned on vision boards, I realized that just saying what I want is not really how manifestation works for me. I have material things I want, spiritual goals I would like to achieve, and personal gains on my “board,” but in reality, I do not believe God just hands you what you want. If that were the case, everyone knows I would be driving a pink Lamborghini!

The way manifestation works for me is I pray for the opportunities that will help me build my wealth to gain material pleasures. I pray for the patience, love, and grace to attain my spiritual upgrades. I pray God places me in the right place at the right time to meet the people I need to meet in order to bring in the values, excellence, and love I desire to be around.

With that being said, the way I believe God works is when I ask for some of these blessings, I will more than likely be given a trial or tribulation to help me build those muscles of patience and grace. I will be challenged with more work and studying than wherever I was the previous year. This is how I upgrade my life. This is how I manifest.

Spring In the New Year with Cleaning 

Lastly, the New Year is only a gentle reminder to do one of my favorite chores: CLEANING! I do a “spring clean” every quarter of the year. The time between Christmas and New Year’s Day is time I take to do a deep clean of my home and also a material cleanse. I get rid of whatever does not serve me so I can welcome in that which does. I do not keep clothes with holes, stains, or items I have not worn in over 2 years. Times change and so do we as humans. We grow. As we grow, and attain higher levels for ourselves, many parts of our lives also need to go! Not in the trash either. The holidays aren’t just about giving to your family and friends, it’s about giving to those in need so donate those used items or items that no longer bring you joy. One human’s trash is another human’s treasure.
